The Seven Pillars of Health

 

In Western medicine, chemotherapy and radiation are (still) regarded as the gold standard in treating cancer. Some people, however, have personally elected a more holistic approach; either altogether or in congruency. If you feel you would like to explore options outside of, or in addition to, conventional medicine, I want to be there for you! I want to encourage you to take control of YOUR health.

The body is able to help itself, but it is your individual responsibility to take care of yourself. I am not able to cure you, but I can offer you my knowledge and experience to help you build the foundation you will need to improve your health.

I am here to support you and your individual needs on your holistic healing journey. My passion is to show you ways how to improve the quality of your life by changing your lifestyle. You will be guided step-by-step with individual attention and support from my heart.

With the Seven Pillars of Health we will address all aspects of your life, including body, mind and spirit.

 

1) Nutrition

 

Food is the fuel your body will use to regain your health. Give your body the absolute best! With my support, you will learn which foods can make you sick and which ones are beneficial. Based on an organic plant-based diet including fresh self-made juices, we will decide together what kind of supplements you can take on an individual basis. 2) Gut Health

 

A large portion of our immune system lies in our gut. A malfunctioning microbiome (the bacteria in your gut) can cause various diseases, even affect our mental health. That is why it is important to strengthen the good bacteria in your gut with certain probiotic and prebiotic foods or supplements.

 

 

3) Detox and Fasting

 

Detoxifying your body is essential for regeneration. There are a variety of natural methods to choose from. If it suits you individually, I offer to guide you through a short-term fast. Fasting is not only a good way to detoxify the body, but also a wonderful procedure to get started with a new healthy lifestyle.

 

 

 

4) Exercise and Movement

 

Everyone has different needs and preferences when it comes to physical activity. We will explore different options based on your interests and fitness level and create a plan that is easy for you to achieve and maintain successfully.

 

 

 

5) Emotional & Spiritual Health

 

Coping with stress is crucial for your overall health. We will take a closer look at your personal stress factors and will evaluate emotional strengths and weaknesses. I will show you my best relaxation techniques from meditations to Qigong/Tai Chi, and other powerful mindfulness exercises. We will explore your spirituality by asking questions about your values, beliefs and purpose of life. (You do not need to be religious.)

 

 

6) Sleep Optimization

 

Sleep is one of the easiest changes to start with on your path to improving your health. We will focus on the quality and quantity of sleep through various strategies, supplements and relaxation techniques. Good sleep is necessary for your body to recover.

 

 

 

7) Toxin-free Living

 

We will identify toxins that surround you in your home and work place. Many toxins (e.g. pesticides) are known carcinogens and endocrine disruptors. I will show you how and where you can begin to reduce and avoid toxins. Another benefit of toxin-free products is that they are not only good for your body but also for nature. Start already discovering toxin-free body care and cleaning products.

Who Do I Work With?

Individuals who are newly diagnosed with cancer and are interested in using nutrition and natural therapies  as part of their protocol. These people may be choosing conventional medicine also or foregoing it completely in preference of alternative medicine.

Individuals who have a recurring cancer and do not want to/or cannot pursue conventional treatment again.

Individuals who choose to delay conventional treatment for a certain amount of time while using that time to make lifestyle changes, nourish their body, detox, and prepare for potential treatment later on.

 

Personal Protocol

In our first meeting, I will get to know you and your personal and medical history. I will ask you to get certain blood tests which will give us a good starting point for how to support your body best. After that, we will combine all Seven Pillars of Health and create a customized daily routine that works best for you.
